**Position Description**:- **100% Remote**:- We are a growing healthcare organization seeking **Medical Doctors** interested in transitioning into administrative roles as **Medical Receptionists**.- As a Remote Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include scheduling, patient inquiries, and administrative support, all conducted from the comfort of your home.- Internal title is Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)- **Pay is based on experience and education.****Key Responsibilities**:- Answer/return patient inquiries via phone or online platforms with professionalism and empathy.- Handling/obtaining referrals, calling patients to inform of referral, schedule and confirm appointments.- Assist with insurance verifications and billing inquiries.- Schedule and confirm appointments using medical software systems.- Accurately manage and update electronic medical records (EMRs).- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.- Comprehensive training provided**Schedule**:- Monday - Friday- 8 am - 5 pm CT**Requirements**:- **18-month minimum commitment required**:- 1 year of relevant customer service/front office/call center experience required- **Must be in the US Central Time Zone**:- **English and Spanish fluency required**:- A+ customer service-oriented attitude, charisma, and excellent bedside manner.- Our top performers earn at the higher end of the pay scale- Tech savviness/Experience with an EMR system and Google Workspace- Excellent organization and time management skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Clear drug screening and background check- Maturity, good judgement, and a proactive mind, anticipate and preempt problems (rather than simply react to them)- Spirit of continuous improvement -- strive to grow, improve, and learn... both professionally and personally, every single day, and to help the company do the same- All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the team, and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned.**About PAD Specialists**:We are a rapidly growing chain of outpatient medical offices specializing in diagnosing and treating Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
