**LOCATION**:Apodaca / Nuevo León (MX-NLE), Mexico | **BRAND**: Bendix | **REQUISITION ID**:1325 |** JOB GRADE**:16**JOB DESCRIPTION**:**Position Summary**:This position is a core member of the Global BI Finance/HR team and will work closely the regional and global businesses to develop business intelligence solutions using SAP BW on Hana and Microsoft SQL Server. As a BI business process consultant, responsibilities will include planning activities, providing work estimates, developing technical specifications, report development, testing, validation, training, and developing documentation to fulfill requests of the business.**Essential Functions**:- Implement requirements according to internal regulations and procedures- Provide 2nd (regional) level support and participate in the resolution of production problems 24x7- Support the training and knowledge management of the key user organization.- Support the ITIL change management processes- Provide analysis and support of IT projects/rollouts- Cooperate with local and global cross-functional teams on business intelligence solutions- Determine requirements, cost and data requirements for reporting including the use of SAP BW as well as other OLAP tools such as Microsoft Analyzer Services and planning solutions such as Arcplan and/or Outperform**Knowledge**:- Knowledge in defining, developing, and implementing query-based reporting for relational and multi-dimensional databases- Knowledge of OLAP technologies (Data Warehousing, Cube Design, Data Modeling, and Data Extraction) based on MS SQL Server- Solid technical background in SAP ECC- Advanced Knowledge of SAP BW on Hana- Knowledge of BPC and SAP SCM a plus- Advanced knowledge of SQL queries- Basic programming knowledge and debugging concepts is preferred.- Knowledge of project management methodologies (ex. PMP, ASAP, Agile/Scrum)- Develop functional specifications for system enhancements.- Interface with business users and analyze business processes and specify/develop reporting solutions to efficiently support those needs.- Participate in defining, integrating and supporting other IT departments and team members as required.- Knowledge in the following a plus:- SAP Business Objects- SAP Lumira and SAP SAC- SAP BW/3 HANA or SAP DWC- Native SAP HANA development**Experience**:- Minimum of 5 years IT analytical experience, Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP BW reporting tools and MS SQL Server development- Data extraction from SAP and non-SAP systems (ODP, Flatfiles, Webservices, etc.)- Data modeling experience based on LSA++ architecture- Experience with SAP Implementations- Experience with SAP ECC, SCM, and BPC- Experience in working with agile development teams- Experience in working with cross-functional teams**Skills**:- Extremely customer focused with a strong sense of urgency required- Strong business process and system analysis skills.
