Part Time Bookkeeper Assistant- Remote Work

The Bookkeeper works closely with the Company’s Finance Department to support its full cycle accounting practices. Bookkeeper to oversee the Company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Part time hours, around 1-3 hours per day depending on workload.Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Prepares timely and accurate processing of accounts payable; receives, verifies, and posts expenses in the accounting systems at the department level- Tracks accounts receivable and invoice clients accordingly- Daily Transaction Classifications and Entries- Journal Entries- Process invoices through Bill Pay- Monitor company payables to ensure timely payments- Monitor A/R and flag accounts for collections- Conducts monthly reconciliation of Company credit card and bank accounts- Tracks and pays sales commissions- Produces ad hoc reports as requested by the ControllerRequired Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Acute attention to detail and superior organizational skills- Maintain confidentiality and respect sensitivity of the information- Polished interpersonal skills and ability to engage with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients- Shows initiative and exercises sound judgmentEducation & Experience- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience- Flexible work schedule; Company based in Pacific Time Zone- Basic accounting knowledge; SaaS accounting preferred but not required- Experience with Quickbooks Online, Google Workspace, and Excel- Experience with billing software like Chargebee preferred but not required- Experience with SaaS accounting preferred but not required- Experience working remotely for US companies highly preferredContract length: 12 months**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractPay: $9.00 per hourPay: From $160.00 per hourApplication Question(s):- How many years of Bookkeeping experience do you have?- How many years of QuickBooks Online experience do you have?- How many years of SaaS accounting experience do you have?- How many years of working with United States company experience do you have?
