Job description Assistant Project Manager (remote admin)About us:GAR Builders is a General Engineering Contractor that specializes in residential construction. If you can help produce reliable systems that can scale, we have a great opportunity for you.Position:As an assistant project manager, you will oversee multiple projects to completion. You will work alongside your UX Manager, Senior Project Manager, Factory Management interacting with a large team on a wide diversity of projects. Tasks will range from materials management, estimating, developing project proposals, feasibility studies, production schedules, and business plans.**Skills**:- Excellent written and verbal communication- Ability to plan, organize a team and execute Senior Managements vision**Responsibilities**:- Drafting proposals, business plans and feasibility studies- Pre-construction planning and scheduling- Job and timeline tracking- Material pricing and orders as needed- Change order tracking- Create weekly reports- Progress presentations**Experience**:- Must have 2 years administrative experience- Must have 1 your project management experienceSchedule:- Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm- Occasional evening client meetings- Must be willing to travel to Mexico, occasional overnights required**Benefits**:- 401(k)- Health insurance- Paid time off- Per Diem (for overnight travel)Compensation package:- Bonus opportunitiesAbility to Relocate:- San Diego, CA : Relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In personPay: $36,000-$51,000 per year**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Paid time off- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to Friday- Weekends as neededTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $723,501.00 - $1,020,926.39 al añoBeneficios:- Seguro de la vista- Seguro dental- Seguro de vidaTipo de jornada:- Diurno- Incluye fines de semana- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horas**Experience**:- Project management: 2 years (preferred)Lugar de trabajo: On the road
