Data Analyst

**Job Details****How will you do it?**- Unify different databases and data sources- Create and support data modeling and data lakes- Administer those processes, including facilitating the data governance council meetings- Facilitate data governance organization, tactical and operational stewards, and the data governance council involvement- Develop and communicate required policies and standards- Provide quality assurance - oversight, monitoring, report results- Establish, maintain, and periodically review and recommend changes to data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures- Assist in defining data quality metrics- Work collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to architect analytical data models- Demonstrate understanding of concepts, best practices, and functions to implement data models on RDBMS, big data, and cloud data platforms. Prior experience modeling for big data, key-value, document, and graph use cases is preferred- Direct and model the conceptual, logical, and physical framework and perform data modeling (dimensional, relational, star schemas, snowflake schema modeling with facts and dimensions) nuanced for big data platforms- Collaborate with business partners to drive adoption and optimization of the analytics platform- Follow data architecture standards, policies, and procedures for the organization and ensure that these standards are followed- Manage the maintenance of data mapping and data lineage documents, business glossary, and data catalog.- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend data management technologies to drive efficiency and improve data asset management capabilities**What we look for?**- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline- Fluent English- 2+ years of experience with database, including database design, Bigdata and Cloud technologies- 1+ years of experience in IT management leading or supporting corporate functions- 1+ years of business partnership experience with exposure to senior management- Willingness to meet challenges, hardworking and able to work under pressure- Knowlage on technologies as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Data Warehouse (SQLDW), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Blob Storage, SQL Database, Apache Spark, Azure Synapse Analytics, DBeaver or relates.- Foster a culture of technical discipline, quality, and innovation- Able to effectively influence stakeholders and peers to design and deliver optimal solutions in line with the best interest and expectations of the business- Prioritization skills, strong written, verbal and documentation skills for communication of technical solutions- Understanding of trends, new concepts, industry standards and innovative technologies in Data and Analytics space- Ability to work with global distributed teams- Ability to proactively suggest new ways of approaching tasks to provide a better service to our customer base- Proficient in using Business Intelligence and AI tools- Exposure to various development methodologies including PM & Agile- Proven ability to critically think and creatively problem solve.- Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies**Tools**:- Strong knowledge skills of MS SQL- Power Apps- Microsoft Flows- .NET- Knowledge of R, Python, DAX, JavaScript, or related programming languages- Power BI- Azure / DBeaver or related- AI Tools- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion._
