Job SummaryOwn and effectively manage an assigned portfolio following sourcing strategy and using established sourcing methodology and toolsMain tasks and responsibilities:- Leads evaluation and selection of suppliers within tail portfolio, understand the business needs in terms of quality, service, specs and aims to cost efficiency on the assigned portfolio for sites in scope.- Understands and is updated on business needs and it’s evolution regarding product changes, forecast and critical product demand.- Participates on Core Strategy Teams for materials and services in the Efficiency and/or Essential Quadrants.- Negotiates prices following the market trends and business strategies and identifies opportunities in cost optimization driving continuous improvement.- Understand and execute Tail Spend strategy.- Leads Sourcing Strategy in project development meetings when required.- Ensure all the transactions within your scope follow up company’s SOPs and best practices, so that they’re compliant according to internal audits and policies.- Uses Auction Tools, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and/or sealed bids.- Creates leveraged agreements as appropriate.- Calculates and reports accomplishments in all appropriate systems.- Resolve and document issues with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, supply and price problems and issues with blocked invoice for payment.Requirements:- Graduates with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Procurement.- 2 years’ experience on negotiation- Proficiency in spoken and written English, other language is a plus.- Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be a plus.- Good planning & organizing skills- Attention to detail.- Willingness to take initiative, be hands on and result driven.- Ability to work under pressure- Fast learner- Networking; ability to effectively work with a wide variety of organizations and people.- Strong communication skills- Flexibility to get rapidly adjusted to new situations in a continuous changing environment.We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
