Responsibilities Lead/Guide a team of developers in best practices, with an emphasis on Java, cloud‑based development, and system reliability. Mentor and coach team members related to architecture, design, development, build, deployment, and maintenance of systems. Collaborate with the architect to define the technical roadmap for the product, provide design and technical governance, and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Evaluate product requirements and propose solutions considering the product's vision and the technology roadmap. Work closely with the architecture to ensure decisions meet long‑term enterprise growth needs. Complete appropriate documentation for technical designs, process engineering, and project decisions. Build tools and patterns to accelerate development and delivery. Research and implement new technologies and solutions to enhance current processes, security, and performance. Evaluate new technologies and tools, lead POCs to prove new ideas, and champion good design practices. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, and identify and implement solutions. Collaborate with the production operations department to ensure deployments roll out smoothly and customer group support is met. Work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed to support the operation. Skills Must have Cloud‑based development, Azure, Kubernetes Microservices architecture and JavaScript MVC frameworks Java SE, Java EE, or Spring J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, Angular, XML, SOAP/REST, and other web development technologies Front‑End Development: Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, GIT, jQuery Java/Java EE design patterns, SOA principles and patterns, EAI patterns, and UML Experience in at least one web framework, preferably Spring Boot Diagnostics/Testing Tools, such as ADX, Dynatrace, Splunk, and SOAP UI Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, Slack, GitHub, Jenkins Relational databases Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups, as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources Nice to have 3 years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using Agile or similar methodologies 3 years of experience providing technical leadership Languages English: A1 Beginner Seniority Lead Relocation package If needed, we can help you with relocation process.
