**UNDERWRITING****What is in it for you?**A company with a strong brand and strong results to matchThe opportunity to start and model the direction of the businessOpportunity to engage with other areas of Guy Carpenter´s business to understand the full scope of client relationship and serviceEmployee Resource Groups which provide access to leaders, relevant volunteer and mentoring opportunities and interactions with counterparts in industry groups and client organization**We will count on you to**:- Evaluate and underwrite a wide variety of individual engineering (facultative), property, reinsurance, marine and aviation and RS risks.- Ensure excellence in all underwriting, administration and documentation related tasks.- Proactively build, enhance and expand our business relationships with our clients, cedants and brokers, with a clear focus on understanding clients' needs in order to find solutions and acquire profitable (new) business.- Close cooperation and support to our Client Management and UW Treaty teams to safeguard a holistic client approach and client team excellence.- Prepare and conduct seminars and workshops for clients in our region.**What you need to have**:- Bachelor’s degree or coursing the last semester/quarter mainly Actuarial Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Law, Accounting, Administration- Business English proficiency, particularly written- Demonstrate ability to understand basic formulas in Microsoft Excel- Advanced command of Office Microsoft Suite**What makes you stand out?**- Ability to develop relationships with various business areas- Ability to clearly negotiate expectations with colleagues at different levels in the organization.- Mindset Growth- Attention to Detail and Drive- Order and self-administration
