**Performance and Rewards Manager****Role purpose**This role is accountable for Rewards strategy implementation in HBMX, and supports the coordination of pay review. Supports the deployment and end to end implementation and execution of the Perfomance Management programs and activities. Support the design and implementation of local Performance Management programs. This role is expected to work closely with stakeholders within HR and other areas local, regional and globally.**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**- Actively contribute to the success of the team as a whole by supporting other team members. Demonstrate strong team work and role-model behaviours.- Perform and utilize data analysis to make compensation recommendations, insights and analysis regarding the compensation strategy in HBMX- Prepare / validate compensation proposals for HBMX (internal, external hires, in role promotions, salary adjustments and retentions)- Actively support in the preparation and execution of year end activities and pay review- Be part of the implementation of global and local Performance Management programs and activities and support to communicate the feedback and conversations relevance for leaders and colleagues- Research market competitiveness of compensation programs through compensation survey benchmarking and market pricing.- Partner with R&O and HRBPs to provide compensation solutions overseeing the strategy, policies compliance and business needs- Make decisions within assigned authority. Decisions beyond assigned authority are referred to higher management for approval- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand- Ensure that all employees are aware of and effectively identify and manage applicable money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions and reputational risksRequirements**Knowledge / Experience**- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin or related- Minimum of five years proven professional experience in compensation HR teams or equivalent- Demonstrate data analysis and reporting skills and the ability to recognize trends- Proficiency in English language is essential- CCP designation preferred or courses / experience in human resources, compensation or total rewards is essential- Familiar with compensation surveys and benchmarking- Previous experience working in a complex corporate environment would be desirable- Proven professionalism with solid written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and sustain remote working relationships with partners across the globe in multiple time zones**Capabilities**- Ability to work independently- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment and maintain a sense of urgency- Successfully manage competing priorities and ability to work toward and achieve deadlines- Motivate and take pride in delivering quality words- Strong focus and precise attention to details- Communication skills to different stakeholder- Team work and stakeholder management- Delivery at paceAt HSBC we are committed to building a culture where all employees and customers are valued regardless of their gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religious belief, background or any other different personal aspect.HSBC employees act by showing integrity with courage, standing firm in what is right.
