**Quality Assurance Manager****EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:- Two to five years of related experience.- Excellent communication skills in order to deal effectively with employees at all levels in the organization, as well as outside individuals such as customers, source inspectors, auditors, etc.- Fluent English- Equivalent to the completion of an undergraduate college degree.- Must have a thorough knowledge of company documentation and procedures.- Must have a thorough knowledge of Statistical Process Control.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S)**:- Assures compliance with internal and external quality standards and procedures. Assists in the development of quality standards and procedures to promote continuous quality improvement.- Establishes and manages a total quality management (TQM) program for a product location.- Supervises location Quality Supervisors/Engineers in the performance of their job duties.- Designs and audits a control system that monitors the quality of the product; from design, purchase and test of materials, process control, inspection and testing of the final product; to identify and record exceptions to the specifications desires. Reports exceptions to the appropriate personnel and assists in determining corrective actions.- Manages total quality program by audit of costs based upon quality prevention costs, appraisal costs and failure costs.- Meets and deals with audit and survey individuals who may be in for source inspections, ISO or QS9000 audits, etc.- Negotiates when necessary, new customer requirements with regard to the details of the administration of the quality program.- Initiates programs for documentation and control of the quality procedures and processes of the manufacturing operation.- Performs vendor quality surveys for purposes of approving vendor quality programs, equipment, and organization. Provides feedback of discrepancies to the appropriate company personnel and to the vendor.- Directs and approves the product evaluation plan for the location including inspection methods, sampling plans, feedback information, quality levels and defect classifications.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Turno de 8 horas
