Then, we want to hear from youAn opportunity has arisen for a Principal Technology Specialist to join our global Technology team.Reporting directly into the Senior Technology Operations Manager, your primary focus will be to uphold a high standard of service regarding all Technical Operational activities and to ensure the service continuity of all desktop, server, network and cloud environments.Whilst this role will focus on supporting the Americas region, you will also work alongside colleagues in UK&I, EMEA, and APAC to manage our key strategic suppliers, ensuring that service levels are maintained, escalations are managed, and service improvements are delivered globally.You will also have the opportunity to interact with both internal management and AMS clients to address their technology needs, ensuring that we can deliver our contracted services and new business wins that ultimately contribute to the growth of our organization.**Key Accountabilities**:**We will rely on you to**:- Support the day-to-day management of technology operations, including BAU activities and handling internal or client escalations.- Assist in the ongoing delivery and optimisation of global technology infrastructure and services.- Help manage relationships with key technology suppliers, including Managed Services, VoIP, Internet, and Application providers.- Coordinate and manage technology workstreams and tasks, collaborating with clients, operations, and IT teams to support both client implementations and BAU activities.- Work closely with security and data protection teams to address and support security-related matters.- Collaborate with AMS project teams to deliver new technologies that support business growth, acting as a key technology stakeholder.- Contribute to the execution of the Technology Roadmap and the implementation of new technologies.- Support the development and delivery of defined processes and support models.- Manage internal technology communications and updates.- Create, maintain, and review technical support documentation.- Provide support for operational and infrastructure-related projects.**Skills & Experience**:**What you need to have to be successful**:**Essential Experience**:- 3-5 years of experience in Technology Operations or Service Delivery.- Proven experience supporting and managing IT infrastructure and third-party suppliers in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.- Experience defining and supporting new operational processes.- Comfortable working across multiple teams and locations, including international and client-facing environments.- Experience supporting technology-related projects.**Essential Skills**:- Highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic environment.- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.- Innovative and solutions-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.- Flexible and pragmatic, with a readiness to work in a transformational setting.- Strong project support and delivery capabilities.**Desirable Skills**:- Any experience in of AI tools.- Familiarity with asset management systems.- Understanding of FinOps (Financial Operations) principles.- Knowledge or experience with data protection practices and tools.**Other**:Every one of us plays a pivotal role in our success, whether engaging directly with clients or shaping the value we add behind the scenes.
