**What your background should look like**:**ACTIVITIES**:- Manage the engineering change process (ECR / ECN) to support product manufacturability, reduce overhead costs, address customer requested changes, etc. Interface with various functions to ensure engineering change is clearly understood and handled correctly.- Manage the Product Change Notification (PCN) process to inform customers of any design changes.- Respond quickly to customer issues and support quality engineering by driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for material, mechanical and electrical problems.- Redesign products to resolve a customer complaint, manufacturing issue, or to support cost reduction efforts.- Provide root cause and corrective action assistance on design related problems that have resulted in customer complaints, manufacturing or supplier rejections.- Determine the level of product qualification testing required for tooling moves, new tooling, new suppliers and design changes.- Assist MRB reviews, revision and disposition with First Article of Equipment (FAI) reports.- Perform engineering analysis using available computer aided engineering (CAE) tools.- Provides engineering direction and support to design staff.- Coordinates the complete development of designated products, including design, build and test activities, in accordance with TE standard operating procedures and product delivery process.- Coach engineers and provide support, coaching and direction to help develop new skills to other engineers.**REQUIREMENTS**:- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position.- Advanced English- Lean six sigma tools- AutoCad / Soliworks / Minitab knowledge**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
