Without our worldwide manufacturing employees, none of this would be possible.**JOB PURPOSE**:Responsible for facility performance levels to Advanced Components Manufacturing (ACM) targets for Lean Digital Transformation of operations and supply chain to deliver improved order-to-delivery results. Leads facility efforts to develop and implement specific Lean Digital Transformation projects.**JOB DUTIES**:Responsible for performing work to achieve ACM Lean Digital Transformation performance targets focused on manufacturing connectivity, and intelligent automation to improve order-to-delivery results.The incumbent coordinates and manages a portfolio of multiple, cross-functional work teams deploying the ACM Lean Digital Transformation portfolio for a facility.Incumbent leads team efforts to gather and analyze data on facility connectivity and intelligent automation opportunities and prioritize efforts based on facility need and value. This position leads team efforts to develop IIoT connectivity and intelligent automation capabilities and use cases.The incumbent supports facility efforts to implement IIoT connectivity and intelligent automation where appropriate. This work requires knowledge of Lean concepts and tools. The incumbent must be able to lead work teams consisting of members from multiple functions, driving collaboration and communication across facility divisions, including site Purchasing, indirect purchasing, local IT Support personnel, Global IT, Manufacturing Technology & Solutions, manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, factory floor personnel, transportation, logistics and operations.This role will work collaboratively with external and internal suppliers, and across all functional areas in the order-to-delivery domain. This role requires cross-functional team leadership skills and communication.Moderate Travel Required (25% - 50% working time)**POSITION IMPACTS**: Incumbent is responsible to achieve ACM targets for Lean Digital Transformation of operations and supply chain to deliver improved order-to-delivery results. Leads facility efforts to develop and implement specific Lean Digital Transformation projects**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:- Experience and knowledge of Lean concepts and tools- Experience and knowledge of supply chain principles, material flow, the corporate NPI process, facility product and engineering change control processes and throughput efficiency- Strong understanding and previous experience using common factory systems, and the ability to coordinate facility efforts with large-scale IT transformations- Must possess excellent leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain and operations improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people- Must possess extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common Lean Digital Transformation processes across multiple departments and facilities within a business division- Must have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems.- Must be able to design and deploy Lean Digital Transformation IIoT connectivity and intelligent automation in a highly productive environment with mínimal disruption to daily requirements- APICS CPIM or CSCP National Certification highly desired.**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:- University degree related to Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required.- Fluent English- Experience with the CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process- Minimum of four years of progressively responsible supply chain, operations, quality or manufacturing job experience- Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain, Operations or Manufacturing Engineering processes- A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.This Job Description is intended as a general guide to the job duties for this position and is intended for the purpose of establishing the specific salary grade.
