**Job Title: Procurement Manager - Foods Mexico****Job Purpose**As a **Procurement Manager - Foods Mexico**, your mission is to create top- and bottom-line growth and value for the Mexico Foods business.This role requires close business engagement with multiple functions, including **R&D, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Global Portfolio, BG Procurement**, and suppliers.Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, bias for action, influencing capabilities, strategy development, business acumen, and project management skills are essential for success in this position.**Key Responsibilities**- Drive and deliver procurement actions under the Foods strategy, including innovation management, forecast engagement, sustainability, and value creation through **5S**, **ASA/AMA projects**, **complexity reduction**, and **Resilience Program**:- Ensure early procurement and supplier involvement in innovations and supply chain projects; act as a core team member in cross-functional teams to ensure **OTIF** (On Time In Full) delivery.- Support portfolio buyers with Foods factories’ material procurement projects (e.g., network optimization, ASA/AMA).- Identify and deliver in-year and long-term material saving opportunities; secure resources for cost-saving projects.- Ensure visibility of CAPEX requirements for moulds and alignment with cluster SC functions.- Align projects with suppliers, ensuring they are part of joint business development plans and supported by the Foods business.- Build strong global procurement networks to deliver fast and high-quality savings and innovation projects.**Experience & Qualifications****Technical Skills**- Strong procurement expertise.- Project management skills for cost savings and innovation (including network planning and risk assessment).- Strategy development and implementation, translating business objectives into actionable procurement strategies and roadmaps.- Finance acumen (P&L understanding) to assess material inflation and communicate impacts on innovation projects.- Supply market intelligence and analysis to build strong portfolio and supplier understanding.- Alliance and relationship management to deliver long-term value.- Sustainability roadmap execution in partnership with portfolio teams.- Strong supplier negotiation skills.**Cross-Functional Skills**- Customer service mindset in all stakeholder relationships.- Implementation of supply chain improvement programs.- Advanced project management skills.**Experience You Should Have**- University degree.- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or R&D.- Experience leading change management projects.**Competencies**- Self-management (priority setting, risk analysis, resource allocation).- Networking and relationship management with full accountability.- Outstanding communication and influencing skills.- Ownership and responsibility, with high energy and drive.- Strong analytical skills providing actionable insights.- Ability to drive results with teams and work effectively in networks and independently.- Results- and solutions-oriented, able to solve unexpected problems on short notice.- Experience working in a virtual, global environment.- Fluency in English.**Leadership Expectations**- Energized by delivering excellent results, acting as a role model in performance and resilience.- Proactively seek better ways of working, engaging and collaborating with others.- Take responsibility for your own wellbeing while delivering high standards of work.- Maintain a consumer-first mindset in all decisions.- Remain humble, data-driven, and attentive to market signals to identify opportunities and address issues swiftly.
