We are committed to providing energy and better living conditions to the Mexicans that we proudly serve.We act to accelerate the energy transition towards a carbon-neutral economy, by reducing energy consumption and developing more environmentally friendly solutions.Our purpose brings to the whole society, represented by our employees, customers and shareholders, reconciling ENGIE's business model with a positive impact on planet and people.**Our key figures in Mexico**:- 25 years presence in Mexico- 2.5 million Mexicans supplied with one of our energy solutions- 20,000 jobs (direct and indirect)- 31% of women in leadership positions- 3.42 USD Million of investment in Mexico- 1st Private Buyer of Natural Gas in Mexico- 2nd Natural Gas Distributor in Mexico- 10 natural gas distribution areas- +650,000 customers in Natural Gas Distribution in residential segment- 4 Natural Gas Transport Companies with +1,300 km of gas pipelines- 2 Power Generation Plants with 280 MW based on natural gas- 1 GW of 100% clean energy generated by 2 wind and 6 solar plants.**Purpose of the Position**:As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at GEMS Mexico, your role is pivotal in shaping the organization’s commercial strategy and driving margin growth for both Electricity and Gas B2B sales, while contributing to decarbonization of operations.**Responsabilities and Job Functions**:- **Commercial Strategy**- **Develop the commercial strategy for B2B Gas and Power supply activities, in close cooperation with product teams.**:- **Implement the commercial plan to achieve GEMS Mexico’s strategic and commercial objectives.**:- **Drive the organization toward ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).**- **Account Management**- **Create and implement relevant Go-to-Market strategies.**- **Build and implement Third Party Intermediaries (TPI) strategy.**:- **Actively engage with Global and Regional/Local Accounts, in close cooperation with ENGIE Key Client Office.**:- **Facilitate information flow and negotiate major deals at optimal risk/reward terms.**:- **Develop and implement action plans to improve the net promoter score (NPS) of the business**- **Commercial Operations**- **Build commercial data vision and promote the systematic use of digital commercial tools (SalesForce) for data-driven decision-making.**:- **Emphasize continued service excellence by working closely with client service teams.**:- **Ensure strict compliance with ENGIE KYC/AML/credit risk policies**- **Team Management**- **Lead and manage the Regional Sales Officers (RSO) team, fostering a collaborative working environment.**:- **Ensure strict compliance with HSSE Group guidelines to prioritize safety and sustainability.**- **Representation**- **Represent ENGIE and GEMS Mexico in industry events.**:- **Organize high-impact commercial events for current and potential customers.**:- **Participate actively to GEMS global Sales&Marketing workstream.****Ocupational Profile**:Required educational background: Bachelor’sDegree in engineering, business, economics, or related field. Master´s degree in Business is advantageous, or an equivalent experience and education.10 years of experience in the power sector, preferably in renewable energy or PPAs.More than 3 years of experience in equivalent positionStrong knowledge of project finance, PPA contract terms and conditions, pricing mechanisms, and risk management.Ability to communicate and interact with internal and external counterparties, customer service and project management.Technical Skills- Excellent understanding of the Mexican Gas and Electricity markets.- Excellent knowledge of Electricity / Gas products and services, including risk management / trading products.- Excellent understanding of utility industry and energy procurement within client organizations.- Proven experience in managing sales organizations, especially for complex products.- People management skills to lead geographically diverse teams across various customer segments and products.- **Fluent in English (mandatory)****Key skills**:- Empathy and strong interpersonal relationships.- Self-motivation and high energy.- Good judgment, tact, and diplomacy.- Results-oriented mindset.- Business acumen and collaboration.- Analytical thinking and adaptability.**At ENGIE we pursue your feeling free to be what you are.
