Company Description“We’re not in the shipping business; we’re in the information business” -Peter Rose, Expeditors FounderGlobal supply chain management is what we do, but at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics.- 15,000 trained professionals- 250+ locations worldwide- Fortune 500- Globally unified systems**Job Description**:Ensure timely and accurate customs clearance process and manage information correctly, while providing an exceptional customer service following compliance policies.Qualifications**Knowledge**:- A good understanding of Expeditors’ Products and Services- Understanding of Customs documentation and process.- Bachelor´s degree in International business (preferred).- Knowledge of Mexican customs law (preferred).**Skills**:- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.- Pro-active, strong organizational skills.- Good Microsoft Office and computer skills.- Fluent in English.- Sense of Urgency.**Behaviours**:- Positive and willing to help attitudeAdditional InformationKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monitoring timely customer’s shipment through all the process flow.- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.- Use the local customs workboard on daily basis- Understand customers business to achieve their requirements.- Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers.- Always meet compliance to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.- Understand department process flow and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are in place and updated in Customer SOP.- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures.- Follow Mexican Customs Law procedures.- Escalate problems to Management when necessary.- Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.- Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.- Attend training classes when required.- Complete mandatory training when required.- Adhere to the company’s 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary.
