Job Description – Business Analyst (Contractor) Positions: 3 Location: Mexico City – Onsite (Santa Fe / Cuajimalpa) Engagement Type: Full-time Contractor Experience Level: 1–4 years Start Date: ASAP (February preferred) Industry: Retail & E-commerce Job Summary (English) We are seeking three Business Analysts with 1–4 years of experience to join a global retail and e-commerce client. The role is onsite in Santa Fe (Cuajimalpa) and requires full bilingual fluency in Spanish and English , including technical English . The Business Analysts will support end-to-end business analysis activities, working closely with product owners, technology teams, QA, operations, and global stakeholders , using Jira and Confluence as core delivery and documentation tools. Key Responsibilities (English) Support business analysis activities across retail and e-commerce initiatives Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications in Jira Maintain documentation, process flows, and requirement traceability in Confluence Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives) Collaborate closely with product, development, QA, and operations teams Support system testing, UAT, and validation activities Coordinate with external and global Business Analysts during transitions Ensure effective knowledge transfer and continuity of operations Required Skills & Qualifications (English) 1–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Strong experience in retail and e-commerce systems Hands-on experience working with Jira and Confluence Experience working with global and cross-functional teams Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements Fluent Spanish and professional-level English (technical English required) Experience in omnichannel retail environments Knowledge of payment flows and/or payment gateway integrations Experience working with large corporate retail IT organizations Must be based in Mexico City and available for onsite collaboration in Santa Fe (Cuajimalpa)
