The company is the largest manufacturer of industrial trucks in Europe, the second-largest producer of forklifts globally and a leading provider of warehouse automation.**We offer**:- Site Buyers, Indirect Procurement are responsible for the cost and supply of all Indirect Material and Services within assigned locations and categories.- Responsible for assigned Indirect Procurement spend and corresponding suppliers for the assigned locations within North America.- Process Purchase Requisitions within SAP, starting from verification until converting into Purchase Orders.- Prepare and execute RFP ‘s / RFQ’s, review submitted quotations, establish price comparison sheets, present sourcing recommendations, conclude contracts and place purchase orders accordingly.- Site Buyers may define and implement local category / sub-category strategy for assigned locations and align with AMCS Category Procurement team as well as internal stakeholders.- Site Buyers follow overall Indirect Procurement Saving and Cost Avoidance targets, benchmark responsible spend frequently, identify potentials, lead supplier negotiations and implement potentials accordingly within their assigned locations and categories.- Contract Management, such as ensuring transparency of all contracts, reviewing terms and validities frequently, is part of Site Buyer’s responsibility.- Continuously improve available procedures and systems in respect of Indirect Purchasing.- Site Buyers report to the regional Site Procurement Manager.**Tasks and Qualifications**:- Successful completion of 4-year degree in Business Administration or any Procurement related discipline,- Minimum 4 years relevant professional experience in an Indirect Site Procurement or Category Procurement team in the automotive (preferred) or any other manufacturing industry.- A combination of education and experience may be considered.- Experienced with negotiations and contract management of international and local suppliers.- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.- Analytical, team oriented, well organized and know how to set priorities.- Experience with MS-Office Tools well as SAP.- Fluent in English.
