As one of Hong Kong's most recognized global brands, OOCL provides customers with fully integrated logistics and containerized transportation services, with a network that encompasses Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australasia.Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. Specifically, Operations is ensuring all equipment is in good order and moving timely. Benefits include:- Competitive salary- Supplemental medical dental and vision- Life insurance- Vacation- Christmas bonus- Food Vouchers- Savings fund**Responsibilities**:- Manage Supplier selection process through rate negotiation and subsequent evaluation ensuring OOCL internal rate systems are updated timely.- Provide trade and sales with routing and cost options over multiple gateways or services. Processing and updating the QF195's.- Auditing job order data for KPI compliance. primary contact point for rate verification and dispute.- Assist in managing all aspects of Regional Operations for OOCL. (Terminals, Rails, Motor Carriers, Empty Flows, Suppliers, and Intermodal Shipments)- Facilitate Terminal and Rail Operations with cross functional interaction on both import, export, and empty movements.- Collaboration cross functionally on system development and process change to meet regional requirements.**Preferred Skills**:- Leadership and Management Experience- Negotiation abilities- Strategic thinking- Empathy and self-awareness- Decision making and problem solving- Planning and organizing- Traffic Flow and Equipment Levels**Qualifications**:- Industry Knowledge- Knowledge of MS Office Suite- Strong ability to research competitive market for required services and Federal Transportation Regulations- Excellent verbal and written communication- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both speaking and writing**Be part of a team**- Have a collaborative mindset as your daily interactions will include working with our customers and with many people in various departments within our organization in a team-based environment.- Bring your experience and thrive on proactively suggesting opportunities to increase efficiencies to improve the current process.**All employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
