As a Senior SDET Engineer , you will be the quality subject‑matter expert on a dedicated Scrum Team and will own all aspects of test planning and execution. You will participate in Scrum ceremonies, including product design reviews and backlog refinement, while providing input on testability of requirements and acceptance criteria. You will also drive adoption of QA best practices and lead the Shift‑Left approach for quality deliverables within your aligned team. Location: Mexico Qualifications we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience +5 years of testing experience including database, APIs, and UI applications (Playwright, TypeScript, RestSharp, C#) Experience and hands‑on work testing enterprise applications Good communication skills Agile experience Experience working with US‑based teams Experience with test and defect management tools (preferably Azure DevOps) Experience with API testing Basic SQL knowledge to write and run basic scripts Experience with Selenium‑based Web UI automation Knowledge of object‑oriented programming languages – preferably C# Strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Automation QA (additional requirements): Experience with Selenium‑based Web UI automation Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming – preferably C# Additional skills listed below under Automation QA Job duties: Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies Document and execute test cases for E2E, integration, and other tests Capture and present testing metrics Analyze user stories, review and provide input to acceptance criteria, and determine optimal test coverage for high‑quality product Provide accurate estimates for test efforts (test case design/scripting, test data management, test execution, defect correction) Design and create test strategies, test cases/scripts ensuring complete coverage, including positive, negative, and edge cases Review test cases/automated scripts of junior test engineers Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests, troubleshoot failures, and drive resolution Execute test cases and capture results Identify/participate in end‑to‑end test scenarios Maintain health of automated test scripts for efficient CI pipeline operation Conduct impact analysis for manual and automated regression coverage Organize tests and executions to promote re‑usability Participate in smoke testing during deployments Assign test activities to other testers within the Scrum team Identify and document defects, prioritize, and troubleshoot production issues Conduct root cause analysis Identify opportunities for improved application code quality through increased unit and integration test coverage Collaborate effectively within the Scrum team What you can expect from us: Stock options Remote work options Flexible working hours Benefits above the law Collaborative and supportive workplace culture Mentorship and opportunities for growth Ready to embark on this journey with us?
