Blue Yonder Title: Associate Data Science ConsultantOther comparable titles: Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Scientist, Machine Learning EngineerOverview:Blue Yonder is a leading SaaS and AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions software product company, and a Glassdoor “Best Places to Work” employer.We are seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join the Delivery Services team where your core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions.We currently have opportunities in both our Retail Planning and Manufacturing Planning practicesScopeCore responsibilities focus your efforts as the data science consultant for Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solution implementations for customers across the Americas region.In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products, such as Luminate Demand Edge, Luminate Store Fulfillment as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.The Data Science Consultant provides services that maximize the value of the customer’s business through data-driven insights and enhanced decision support. This role will be responsible for advising the customer and recommending software configuration alternatives and implementing the software that is configured to optimize the solution so that the customer may realize the maximum value from the software.Our current technical environment (optional)- Azure- Exasol- PythonWhat you’ll do:Provide analytical services as part of a team conducting proofs-of-concept and identifying opportunities to create customer valuePerform data analysis to discover patterns, trends and anomalies in customer data, translate the results into actionable insights, and present results and recommendations to support customers in improving their data qualityExtract and present data stories from customer data sets to demonstrate value of solution and guide the customer in their prioritiesBuild, configure and train models to support overall project objectives, and run simulations and what-if analyses to evaluate alternative scenariosSupport the successful delivery of the solution to the customer by making recommendations and providing quantitative evidence of the project’s resultsWork as part of a highly motivated, interdisciplinary, and agile teamWhat we are looking for:- Graduate degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, is preferred, Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience working on AI/ML projects is acceptable in lieu of a graduate degree.- Ability to elicit customers’ knowledge, both explicit and tacit, about business objectives, strategic concerns, and policies related to the scope and success of the project.- Able to translate complex data into business insights and opportunities to create value.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
