Visión general:Provide technical and creative support for the implementation of packaging solutions for new products and improvement/modification to existing products.**Responsabilidades**:- Ensure correct package design implementation at manufacturing areas in the plants assigned to his/her activities.- Provide pertinent information for package development, such as bill of materials, part numbers, specifications, weight and dimensions to different involved areas: procurement, quality, finance, new products, manufacturing, warehouse and shipping.- Collaborate with engineering and procurement for the proper development of new part numbers required for the launch of new products.- Follow up the execution of ECN’s generated for existing products in order to ensure its correct and timely implementation.- Generate package specifications and procedures when this is required by the activities of the plant.- Review supplier specifications and verify that these meet precisely the requirements of company specifications. If required, approve or reject supplier specifications either graphic or structural.- Work together with manufacturing to provide support and solution to daily problems that may occur during the packaging process.Requisitios:- Education - Bachelor degree, Industrial Design, Industrial or Mechanical Engineer or similar.- Experience - 0-2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or design areas.- Knowledge - Intermediate user of CAD software, ArtiosCAD is a plus. Intermediate use of Office. Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Fundamental awareness of packaging protocols and regulations, desirable ISTA, ASTM, TAPPI.- Skills/Abilities - Intermediate English (written and oral). Strong teamwork, solid communication and service attitude, willing to travel as required, great attention to details and precision, strong observation and analysis skills.
