Over 150 companies have used NAPS to reach their goals of successfully manufacturing in Mexico to remain competitive in the global markets and achieve long-term success.**Position Purpose**Responsible of the design, development, documentation and optimization of existing and/or new products through creativity and innovation, without forgetting quality and brand.**Functions & Responsabilities**- Write/modify CNC programs for all fabrication machines as needed.- Suggest any programming change(s), which will improve the quality, run time, material usage, etc of a part- Monitor the run time of the fabrication machines. Suggest any changes which will improve department efficiency.- Participate in the development of the tool loads of the fabrication machines.- Insure that all material is utilized properly so that scrap is kept to a minimum.- Process Internal Request for multiple departments including fixtures.- Proper distribution and task assignment, customs, and ECs. Follow-up on assigned tasks to ensure accuracy. (e.g. ensure all parts on EC are found and changed, signed off after all parts have been updated).- Designs and makes modifications to the product according to customer needs.- Documents the list of materials according to the new design.- Document new parts, BOM, and register in the ERP system.- Responsible for delivering the list of new materials needed for Purchasing / Production processes based on the new design.- Product design tests at production level process.- Review and follow up on quality non-conformities.- Make engineering changes if necessary.- Document changes or updates to actual processes.- Maintains operating standards (SOP).- Propos projects to optimize production flows and cost savings- Train employees in modifications made to processes**Education and Experience**- More than 5 years experience programming (CNC AP100 (AMADA) / Doctor. ABE or similar), designing and modifiying engineering models, drawings and documentation for the support of the company products.- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical, etc)- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma- Advanced English (Spoken-Written)**Knowledge, Aptitudes & Skills**- Manufacturing processes of the metal mechanic area- Metal fabrication and powder painting process designs- Documentation drawings and practices- Introduction of new products- Process reengineering- Responsible- Innovative- Results focused- Time management- Sense of urgency- Empathic- Proactive- Work under pressure- Teamwork- Communication**Computer Skills**- MS Office (advanced)- Solidworks or Autocad,- 3D Drawing,- SAP,- CNC Programming (AP100 (AMADA), Doctor.
