TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.**What your background should look like**:**Account Manager Responsibilities Will Include the Following**:- Serve as the primary interface between the Customer and TE Connectivity.- Work closely with OEM Sales and Engineering to develop engineered solutions utilizing TE's existing product portfolio and development capabilities.- Develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the Customer to position TE as a strategic partner.- Effectively communicate with all other team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth.- Assess and qualify new business opportunities.- Maintain a high level of awareness in regard to industry trends and competitive activity within the territory.- Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies.- Work with regional leaders to ensure they are supporting the Customer as necessary to become the preferred supplier.- Responsible for understanding all aspects of the customer, including but not limited to: Available Market, Market Share, Customer's Business Objectives, Goals, and Technologies.- Responsible and accountable for delivering the annual growth plans regarding the specific Customer as well as further defining the account-specific tactic under consideration of the Customer’s and TE’s strategies.- Utilize data effectively, demonstrating proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, Salesforce, and SAP- Visit customer plants and manage escalations as needed.**Minimum Requirements**:- BS degree in Engineering or BA/BBA with a focus in Business, Management or Marketing- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical field sales- Sales/Engineering experience in the connector industry a plus- Experience working with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook- Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 10 to 25% of the time- Proficiency in pivot tables (EXCEL), Salesforce, and SAP, data analytics- AUTOMOTIVE MARKET KNOWLEDGEREMOTE POSITION.**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
