Tooling Maintenance Technician

**Date**:Oct 15, 2024**Location**: PUEBLA, MX, 72710**Company**:NOVARES- Finality- Level 1: Carry out complex maintenance work, both curative and preventive, and modifications on production tools, make improvements.- Level 2 & 3 : Plan, organize and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on tools in productionTrain colleagues and participate in the development of new tooling and the improvement of existing tooling- Main Missions**Level 1 - 1 - Carry out maintenance work on production equipment in accordance with the established schedule** - Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with safety instructions and corrective maintenance on production equipment, Control the conformity of the work carried out in relation to the standards of the trade **2 - Carry out improvement and modification work on the tools in compliance with the safety instructions and the procedures in force**:- Suggest and carry out technical and mechanical improvements to tools to optimize their operation - Modifie tools according to customer requests - Carry out modifications requested internally** 3 - Ensure the cleanliness of his/her work area and the quality of his/her work**:- Ensure the reception and tidying of tools if necessary, Control the quality of his/her work, respect the flow of moulds and ensure the flow of the mould at the end of the work - Participate in the diagnosis of anomalies, breakdowns, failures of the means of production**LEVEL 2 - 1- Organize, plan and ensure preventive and curative maintenance level 2 and 3, adjustment**, Prepare a schedule of preventive interventions and distributes the instructions - Place orders for spare parts on the computer system - Ensure the supply of spare parts within the framework of a Preventive Maintenance Plan - Carry out the necessary adjustments and upgrade of the tools in compliance with the tolerances - Ensure the correct operation of the tools during production and intervene as soon as necessary - Ensure the recording of the maintenance schedule on the computer system - Ensure the maintenance of the tools in the system - Ensure the recording of interventions carried out on the tools on follow-up sheets to allow traceability of the interventions **2 - Carry out improvement and modification work on the tools while respecting the safety instructions and the procedures in force**:- Carry out the improvements requested on the tools in order to improve the quality of the products - Carry out the improvements requested on the tools to allow a fast assembly on press - Propose and carry out the technical and mechanical improvements of the tools to optimize their operation **3 - Ensure the expertise in a speciality** - Carry out the analysis and the diagnosis of the tools of its field of expertise in term of ergonomics - Organize, Propose and implement appropriate corrective actions - Carry out the analysis of micro-failures, propose and implement appropriate solutions - Propose improvement plans - Participate in the choice of improvement actions and implements them **LEVEL 3 - 1 - Ensure that preventive maintenance constraints are taken into account for new tools to be installed**:- Propose solutions allowing from the beginning the taking into account of the constraints of maintenance within the framework of the design and the installation of new tools and production process - Lead his/her colleagues in his/her speciality and coordinates their missions for the actions to be carried out- Purpose- Plan, organize and carry out preventive and curative maintenance of production tools- Train colleagues and help to develop new tools and to improve existing tools, as a specialist in his/her domain- Essential job functions- Abilities- Thorough understanding of company product, trade terminology, maintenance and repair operations, manufacturing processes, and machine/equipment operation- Ability to diagnose problems for true root cause and implement effective countermeasures
