The Quality Technician will be a member of the Quality Team and will be primarily responsible for the implementation of the Quality Process within the PDS area within the Reynosa Facility. It is possible that job scope may contain, interfacing with customers, inspection, RCCA, and shipping product. Strong Communication skills and ability to speak English are imperative as they will interface with Customers or AMETEK Team though the Customer Service Representative to convey AMETEK Power and Data Systems level of compliance to the identified requirements.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 Rev D standard and its requirementsWell organized with the ability to prioritize work tasks and adjust as neededCapable of Interfacing with multiple disciplines including Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Operations, Etc.Willingness to learn the product lifecycle and all facets that support product realization for our business unit.Support Corrective Action and Non-Conforming Problem-Solving activities.Comfortable with reading prints, drawings, sketches, specifications, packing sheets and other written documents.Reads and speaks EnglishCoordinates MRB activities with Quality group in WIC or BNG.Participates in Problem Solving Teams and Root Cause AnalysisSupport audit activities as needed by the quality group for Regulatory and Customer audits.Ability to maintain appropriate records relating to QA review and to quantify progress against established goals.Report department metrics to management daily/weekly/monthly as needed.Review product manufacturing and quality records to verify completeness and acceptability.Review Calibration plan as needed to support operations.Perform other duties as needed.**REQUIREMENTS**Industrial or Electronics Degree preferred. Equivalent related work experience considered. High School diploma or GED required.Knowledge of IPC-610 / J-STD-001 preferred, Certification desired.Computer literate with experience in Word, Excel, Oracle, PPT, Access, and Outlook.Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Complies with all company safety rules.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Ability to motivate team members in a creative and effective manner.Commitment to company valuesWilling to learn internal processes.Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures.Responsiveness to external and internal customer issues
