The Automation Service Lead acts as a conduit between the Transformation and Change teams and Digital Operations throughout the automation process, and oversees a team of Project Managers and Process Analysts as they perform day-to-day tasks as required.**Principal responsibilities**- Oversees the identification, validation and prioritisation of opportunities suitable for automation, acting as the key point of contact for Transformation and Change teams as the ‘top down’ and ‘bottom up’ toolkits are applied to their business areas- Oversees and supports the Transformation and Change teams in completing the assessment tools- Reviews and validates opportunities prioritised following ‘top down’ assessment and ‘bottom up’ assessments- Oversees the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of processes selected for automation- Attends solution design workshops and process demos as required- Reviews and validates delivery lifecycle documentation, including the Initial Process Assessment, PDD and SDD, providing sign off where required- Liaises between the DOC and the Transformation and Change teams to provide progress updates, escalate issues, and feed in business input as required (e.g. user acceptance testing)- Assigns process automation demand to the appropriate DOC, liaising with DOC Leads and the COE’s central planning function as necessary to understand pipeline, demand and resourcing- Works closely with the Transformation and Change teams, fostering strong relationships and building the Digital Operations brand across Operations, acting as the key point of contact for senior stakeholders- Provides status reports to the Head of Automation Services, and Central Planning Office as requiredRequirements**Calificaciones - Externas**- Strong understanding of Automation technologies, the operational processes and when Automation should be used- Awareness of industry best practice RPA/LA methodology- Design, incubate and implement future-focused solutions that consider the potential impact of future advances in technology and internal changes**Experience**- Previous experience within change or Automation and Line Management environment- Proven track record in a similar role will be desirable- History of successful delivery of automation solutions across business services**Capabilities**- Have an excellent knowledge of the change process, project lifecycle and automation tools and techniques, reengineering methodologies- Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at senior level in the organisation- Excellent working knowledge of functional area in an operational or consulting capacity- Financial acumen: develop business cases/project charters, ability to budget, track and control project expenditure- Strong facilitation and sound leadership skills- Negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for investments and alternatives in the language of business- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with business partners- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- Strong leadership skills and demonstrates strategic thinkingYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.**Issued By HSBC Electronic Data Processing (India) Private LTD
