Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:- In this position, you will get to:_- Responsible to issue, maintain, expedite, and approve payment of purchase orders in plant Thermal for RWC/ Union City- Responsible to develop supplier’s OTD to a 95% performance level.- Works with the suppliers to reduce overall raw material lead-time.- In conjunction with the PFEP coordinator, ensures accurate inventory planning of raw materials.- Works with management to maintain a MCOGS funnel and executes low to medium level MCGOS projects.- Monitors and drives site inventory reduction initiatives.- Responsible to meet the incoming freight AOP.- Assists with plant scheduling and planning when required.- Works on NPD teams to ensure material availability for new product launches.- You have:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is an asset- Proficiency in SAP (purchasing and material modules) is a must for this position- Intimate knowledge PFEP and MMIF is a plus.90% English proficiency- Previous experience in an engineered-to-order business is preferred.WE HAVE:- A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day- At nVent, we connect and protect a more sustainable and electrified world with inventive electrical solutions.
