Failure Analysis Technician

Has the responsibility of analyzing functional failures in products detected in manufacturing processes (EOL) or by customers or at the request of the quality engineer and documents the results appropriately, complying with all safety and quality requirements/regulations.Analyze internally rejected parts (EOL or others) and those received from customers (field or plant).Receive, register and safeguard the parts returned by customers (field and plant).It can give support in the analysis of the cause of the defects of the pieces.Analyze parts to identify failure modePrepare a complete report for each of the parts received and analyzed.Prepare a report for each of the failure modes and distribute itPerform continuous life tests on special parts to verify their compliance with customer requirements.Properly document and communicate final reports.Ensure that the equipment used for the analysis is calibrated.Make sure to update the metric graphs of the department.Perform layered audits as requiredParticipate in Continuous Improvement activities as required.Manages the Track Wise system to follow up on failure analysisMaintain and update the database of failures and returnsSmarterTogether- Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing- Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication- As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work togetherClick here to viewSensata Recruitment Privacy StatementClick here to view ourSensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for China
