We’re bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world - for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share.The Full Stack Engineer role is based in Mexico City, Mexico - Risk & Compliance IT team.**Main Activities**- Be responsible for Engineering governance process.- To interact with product vendors for future roadmap and enhancements- Work with Architectural and tactical recommendations for the cloud infrastructure, build and deploy pipelines, observability, and SRE practices for a variety of development teams and help them to operationalize those recommendations.- Drive CICD adoption and utilize to create a frictionless development process by modernizing the CICD orchestration using industry leading technologies and maintain a robust development and deployment infrastructure.- Provide technical leadership in the areas of metrics, logging, tracing, profiling, alerting and visualization, deep dive into code and system design to help diagnose issues.- Developed Quality and resiliency in high availability, fast paced and growing environments, support solid DevOps foundation across the full SDLC from story creation to continuous delivery.- Build automated scanning utilities and implement within cloud platforms to identify cloud violations and provide auto heal/fix.- Very Strong and hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, JS React, Spring, Spring boot.- Experience and knowledge in SQL, relational databases, managing structured and unstructured data - Big Query / Postgress / Mongo DB, Oracle etc.,- Experience in containerised technologies - Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience building a range of Services in GCP (preferred) and AWS (a plus) & having other cloud provider knowledge.- Experience in API development including API governance.- Experience in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and other Devops tools.- Knowledge in various security controls, access management, vulnerabilities management will be added advantage.- Additional knowledge or experience in any front-end technology - web (Angular) or mobile (swift or Kotlin) will be added advantage.- Strong automation focus.- Experience in agile ways of working.- Good problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Linux and windows development experience- Bachelor’s degree in computer science + 5 years of experience in above areas.- ** Competencies**:- Teamworking- English- Orient resultAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of leave days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
