TE Connectivity's Purchasing Teams are responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment and services, gather quotations, examine bids, and award contracts. They perform cost analysis and volume planning for commodities, evaluate vendor reliability and develop new supply sources where required. They coordinate purchasing activities with the manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels and monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. They also look for and recommend cost saving proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria as well as develop specifications for new contract orders.**What your background should look like**:**Funciones esenciales**:- Responsable de obtener material y servicios indirectos, recopila cotizaciones, examina licitaciones y otorga adjudicaciones.- Realiza análisis de costos y planificación de los productos asignados. Evalúa la confiabilidad del proveedor, desarrollando nuevas fuentes de suministro cuando sea necesario.- Coordina las actividades de compra con los departamentos de fabricación e ingeniería para acordar las necesidades de herramientas y equipos para respaldar las operaciones.- Supervisa el costo, el cronograma y el alcance de los subcontratos asignados para garantizar la mejor calidad al mejor precio.- Recomienda propuestas de ahorro de costos que incluyen análisis de fabricación frente a compra, fuentes alternativas y criterios de evaluación de proveedores.- También responsable de cumplir y superar las expectativas deseables con respecto a las métricas de Adquisiciones Indirectas (KPI), que incluyen, entre otros, productividad, calidad, entrega, cartera de proyectos de ahorro, consolidación de proveedores e impulsar el gasto con los proveedores preferidos y estratégicos de TE.**Requisitos**:- Al menos 1 año de experiência en compras para industrias electrónica y eléctrica, coordinación de proyectos para mejorar procesos e impulsar Ahorro de Costos, capaz de trabajar bajo estrés, organizado, orientado a resultados. Bilingüe, o al menos el 90% del inglés escrito y hablado.- Título universitario en IE / Ing.
