The company’s strategy includes leveraging 80/20 to prioritize all activities, including product excellence, operational excellence and commercial excellence (i) driving organic sales growth through the introduction of innovative new products, with a particular focus on improving energy efficiency, (ii) establishing and maintaining new customers, as well as developing new opportunities with existing customers, (iii) participating in higher growth end markets and geographies, and (iv) identifying and consummating strategic, value creating acquisitions.MRO buyer provides the necessary support to all functional areas of the company for MRP, Manufacturing aids, Chemicals, and Maintenance, Repair and Operations purchases.**Responsibilities**:- Source materials, place and follow up on MRO purchased orders with specified suppliers for any requested plant or office maintenance, repair, operations materials, equipment and/or services.- Responsible to ensure Inventory levels of MRO items are optimized to support Operational needs, meeting financial objectives by keeping Inventory levels to optimized levels.- Provide support (quotes/options) in response to requests for maintenance, repair, operations equipment, services, for plant and office.- Review engineering notifications and drawings covering areas of responsibilities.- Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined by Regal Rexnord- Ensure all requisitions and purchase documents comply with established processes, policies, and procedures.- Update core data and vendor details in SAP ERP- Maintain office files & records to show history, price, status, of all materials and transactions.- Maintain inventory for indirect materials to meet stated goals or inventory turns and cycle counts.- Obtain necessary authorizations and approvals as per the procedures.- Assess MRO provider performance periodically.- Make comparisons to recommend MRO providers which are the best option, thus benefiting the company. Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company.**Requirements**:Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Education, Business/Administration, Technical, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, related areas.Experience in purchase of Factory MRO & other Indirect materialsFluent English desired, written and oralSAP/Inventory knowledgeRegal Rexnord is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
