Strategic Sourcing Analyst Iii

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.**What your background should look like**:**Responsibilities**:- Accountable to achieve objectives/targets regarding Supplier Quality, Delivery and Material Productivity- Builds strong relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize performance- Develops, executes, commodity strategies ensuring alignment with plant and BU objectives- Leads and executes the Sourcing Steps- Clears the path to issues related with supply disruptions- Ensures and promotes adherence to global processes, policies, procedures, best practices within TE and extensive to supply base- Manages data Integrity in SAP- Should cost analysis**Qualifications**:- 3-5 years’ Experience in field- Bachelor’s degree is preferred- Knowledge of ERP systems as applicable to planning & purchasing- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Project management basic knowledge - experience is a plus- Negotiation and analytical skills- Fluent in English- Strong communication and presentation skills- Knowledge of financial costing of product**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
