Senior Sourcing Specialist

Visión general:The NPD Sourcing Specialist will have responsibility on supporting Engineering in all new product development activities and representing the Procurement department, specifically the Sourcing Managers. This person will help implement and drive change in the department to meet the growing expectations from the channel and engineering. They will represent Purchasing in the monthly product reviews with management as well as manage the NPD data for all projects.NPD Sourcing will also act as the liaison between Engineering and the suppliers. They will be a critical member of the cross functional Commodity Management Team evaluating technical trends, requesting initial cost estimates/quotes, placing orders for tooling and pilot materials as well as assisting with the development of new supplier relationships for new products.**Responsabilidades**:- Liaison between the suppliers and engineers- Schedule meetings between engineering and potential suppliers to discuss cost reduction initiatives- Ensure NDA’s are in place with all suppliers we are engaging- Ensure suppliers used in the project are within the category strategies- Send RFQ packages to suppliers and negotiate cost- Analyze and communicate any supply risk and associated costs to the project team- Manage MOQs and lead times (for both samples and production)- Ensure project stays within budget - maintaining cost analysis- Track and report risk of supply- Expedite samples, parts and tooling- Invoice resolution- Track tooling schedules and ensure meet the project schedule- Communicate project status and costs at the NPD weekly meeting- Identify and work with the suppliers who are strong on innovation/new products development, in order to build up the innovation development leadership of ASB in the B&K market.- Support Procurement Owner to develop the Sourcing strategy.- Follow up the supply issues, work with suppliers on continue improvement- Good Initiative and follow through- Good Problem solving skill- Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing prioritiesRequisitios:- Bachelor degree in Business.- Minimum 5-year experiences in NPD Procurement.- Extensive experiences in Contract Negotiation- Work experience in Bath & Kitchen industry is preferred.- The following experiences are preferred, include process/project management experience, ability to manage multiple work assignment and ability influence and drive changes.- Bilingual (Spanish & English) Required
