We're looking for someone who shares those values and can translate them into compelling designs.**About the role**:the draftsman is responsible for producing detailed working construction drawings for all company projects. This position also serves as a working draftsman assigned their own personal projects for completion. Each assigned home is drawn three times. Once based upon contract, second after preconstruction meeting and lot inspection with customer change orders and a final after estimating has developed the purchase orders for the job.**Key Responsibilities**:- Embody the company's core values of service first, always do the right thing, and constantly pursue excellence, along with embodying the principles of customer service, recognizing that “great” service often requires a “shocking level of response”.- Participates in drafting team meetings. Most important agenda items are resource scheduling, drawing schedule to keep preconstruction meetings and job starts on schedule.- Assist in the design and preparation of plans for new models, and update existing models, with an emphasis on value engineering.- Maintain legends and window and door schedules for each base house drawing in the data base and on each contract specific drawing.- Update plans to reflect feature and specification changes.- Plan changes and reschedule in response to field complications and visits.- Complete draft revisions within a standard time frame.- Reduce any office related variances through clarifications of plans**Qualifications**:- Advanced English (C1,C2)- +6-8 years of experience with CAD- US building codes**Soft Skills**:- Attention to detail.- Self-starting.- Planning.**Technical Skills**:- Complete mastery of CAD drawing software- VPOs coded to “plan error” variance codes**Schedule**:- Monday to Friday Onsite from 7am to 4pm- $32,000 NetTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: Hasta $32,000.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernesLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
