**Job Description Summary**:As an External Hardware Analysis Engineer within the Professional Band (E1 Level), you will be responsible to execute projects related to Analysis and Simulation of components, assemblies and systems in a multi-functional team environment.**Roles and Responsibilities**Your main responsibilities will be:- Execute, with some guidance, the analysis related to assigned components, assemblies or systems.- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.- Demonstrate technical capabilities concurrent with the execution of the position’s responsibilities.- Document technical data generated to substantiate your work, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.- Provide timely communication regarding significant issues or developments.- Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews.- Solve problems of limited scope and complexity.- Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring schedule requirements are met.- Self-check of work.Propose innovative analysis design, processes, and systems.- Understand input from the different engineering disciplines.**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautics or related.- Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position.- Experience in the use of a commercial Finite Element Analysis software.- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish. Must be able to understand most of a simple conversation, ask simple questions, and communicate simple ideas in English.- Presentation Skills: ability to communicate across functions.- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.- Demonstrated ability in managing own projects.**Desired Characteristics**- Experience using ANSYS APDL, ANSYS Workbench, or Hypermesh environments.- Experience using geometry editing software, aligned to mesh construction.- Experience matching analysis simulation results to hand calculations.- Familiarity with Project Management principles.**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
