Key Responsibilities Day‑to‑day management of inbound/outbound operations, focusing on delivering Amazon orders directly to customers. Lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery‑Service Providers, managing daily operations of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs and management representatives. Ensure a safe workplace with properly trained people who can focus on their jobs. Lead change at internet speed, driving innovation that keeps Amazon the global company we are today. Route shipments within the Amazon Logistics coverage area and support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for associates and Delivery Service Providers. Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools, track and monitor sorting operation and driver’s dispatch, and review the operational forecast to determine productivity requirements for the sort operation. Support the team and assign job duties to process assistants, adapting quickly to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities. A Day in the Life You’ll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, making sure it is as productive as it can be. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety, uphold quality and area performance standards, and drive implementation of process improvements within your area. A typical day is varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide‑scale operational contingency tasks. About the Team Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles all delivery duties in partnership with third‑party distribution businesses. We use creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts. Our team is people‑focused and supportive, especially as many of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. Basic Qualifications 3+ years employee and performance management experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays English Intermediate‑Advanced (B2+) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
