**Responsibilities**Startup of Machining processes and assembly processesDirects the transfer of production lines and products from other facilities to the EFC&P Saltillo Plant.Analyzes problems, raises solutions, and provides written instructions when a process, material, or specification needs to be deviated or modified.Prepares and/or approves procedures that guarantee the manufacture, assembly and testing of components and products.Ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to their position.Ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to their position, complying with the safety standards applicable to the company.Performs any other activity assigned by your immediate boss.Prepares improvement projects to make processes and / or products more efficient, as well as reduce waste and costs.Designs tools and devices for fabrication, assembly, and testing.Participates in the development of prototypes, qualification tests and pilot runs in coordination with the Department of Product Engineering at the corporate level.Process Setup, Documentation and TrainingFixture, Tooling selection and ControlTake measures to deliver any 5s activities together with HR team if needed.Drive a safety culture by foster safety hazards reporting and elimination.Actively participate in “I Own safety”, Velocity reporting, safety and productivity committees, and COVID-19 protocols.Promote the values of the company within daily activities.Root cause analysis for recurrent problems on manufacture area**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**English >90%Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar bachelor. Master’s degree desirable.5 years minimum of successful Manufacturing and Processes experience.Implement lean and six sigma manufacturing and DFT (Demand Flow Technology)Excellent communication skills.Experience in Startups, Line transfers, Layout design and ImplementationPPAP’s, FMEA & Lean Techniques (5S, SMED, WIP, Materials Flow)Machining Processes (Turning and Milling, Citizen and Swiss type Turning is a plus)CNC Machining and CNC ProgramingGood understanding on mechanical system.Experience in Autocad, Mechanical Desktop, SolidWorks or similar (CAD/CAM experience plus)Expert in CNC Processes (Turning is a plus), Fixture and Tool selection, CNC Programming desirableExperience in Process Improvement sector and continuous support to Innovation.Sense of Urgency, Quick Learner
