Post Sales Applications Engineer

As part of the Americas NXP post sales team you will be responsible to develop and maintain field failure verification tools, at first instance for 8-bit and 16-bit legacy microcontrollers and MagniV product family. In addition you will help on Post-Sales Applications verification activities to resolve technical issues with the primary objectives to develop test containment and reduced problem resolution cycle time.**Scope or Responsibilities / Expectations**:- Maintain and support existing field verification tools for 16bit microcontrollers and MagniV devices, this includes hardware, software and firmware.- Resolve technical quality correlation issues that occur on a customer’s Production Line, Assembly Plant, Dealership or Warranty return areas.- Feedback to Product Engineering - Containment Solutions- Feedback to Design Engineering - Enhance Future Products- Collaborate with other field engineers (mainly FQE’s) whenever a complex technical issue or whenever field engineers request for assistance- Provide training for the Field Engineering organization based on customer or Field Quality Organization team needs.- Collaborate with Global Field Engineering teams and develop new field failure verification tools, fixtures and techniques to aid in the problem resolution process.**Studies**:Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or related Engineering, covering the following fields Microcontrollers, Semiconductors, Digital and Analog electronics, Embedded programming.**Experience Level**:6 months - 1 years in electronic automotive industry**Knowledge / Skills**:Analytical & problem-solving oriented.Visual Basic programing knowledge.Teamwork oriented.
