Overview:The Plant Controller is a key leader on the plant leadership team. Contributes to all areas of plant management and provide strong financial leadership. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant and provide recommendations to improve site performance. Responsibility to oversee the execution of financial processes, policies, and programs personally and through their team.**Responsibilities**:- Business partner for the Juarez operations/plant management team - provide leadership through assessment, idea generation, root cause analysis, counter measure development and driving accountability for results.- Prepare standard financial and operational reports, explain variances, and report monthly plant financial performance.- Design and implement reporting and procedures for key financial performance indicators along with corrective action when necessary.- In partnership with FP&A and plant leaders, develop the annual operation plan and forecast.- Collaborate with site operations leadership team to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify risks, participate in strategic business discussion, and key decision making.- Serve as finance leader in support of the Lean Breakthrough project workstreams, as well as champion for cost reduction initiatives.- Provide support for the annual audit where needed.- Maintain integrity of financial reporting and safeguarding of assets by testing and inspecting existing controls and updating as needed.- Collaborate with the cost and general accounting teams for proper recognition of significant and/or unusual transactions.- Comfortable with leading and orchestrating change in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance- 10+ years of cost/inventory accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including previous P&L responsibility- ERP standard costing experience- Ability and willingness to spend time on production floor; learn and understand manufacturing processes and products- Strong presentation and communication skills- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
