As a **COST ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST EXPERIENCED **you will be responsible to support the cost accountant to realize standard cost of manufactured and purchased products/materials. Manufacturing and purchase prices variations analysis**Key Responsibilities**- Provide costing support to the Cost Accountants- Support mid-month and month end closing activities including: batch ticket closure, SLA and other costing errors.- Participate in quarterly recost including: working with procurement on freight rates, understanding PPV drivers, working with technical teams on batch size changes and working through high variance items.- Ensuring all cost transactions are correctly reflected in the ledger- Ensure accurate and timely period reporting that stays in sync with corporate requirements.**Qualifications**- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a cost or accounting department of a multinational company.- Strong English written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with customers throughout the organization.- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills- Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development- Great teammate with focus on collaboration**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
