IT Quality Senior Manager

Has responsibility for volume, quality,timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area ofexpertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management ofpeople, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and mayinclude budget approval.**Responsibilities**:- Performs initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialistswho work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans- Manages multiple IT Quality teams or an IT Quality functional area (depending on size of business).- Resolves complex and highly variable issues.- Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes; follows and analyzes industry trends.Develops and designs standards and procedures; ensures that they are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle.- Manages organizational process change.Develops and implements methods for cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities. Strives for continuous improvementsand streamlining of processes.- Ensures consistency and quality of processes across the organization. Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts andprocedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.- Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality and has basic commercial awarenessEvaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.- Uses evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information.- Impacts IT Quality through delivery of end results and contribution to planning, finances/budget and formulation of policies.- Responsible for budgeting, project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization across multiple streams ofdevelopment- Responsible for people management, mentoring and career development process for Shanghai team including deliveringperformance review, training, recruiting.- Collaborates with local and global stakeholders like QA team, production support team, environment management team, DBAteam, etc. to ensure project stability and productivity.- Responsible for handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work withinthe team/project.- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputationand safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adheringmanaging and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and createaccountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.**Qualifications**:- 6-10 years IT Testing experience required- Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and testing tools- Knowledge of any well-known software development and testing life-cycle methodology- Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence**Education**:- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferredWe seek for an executive and hands-on professional with experience in software development/testing life cycle, Citi products/procedures end-to-end knowledge, influencing skill for effective leadership, promoting team’s collaboration across functions and line of businesses.**Key responsibilities**- Manage Defects across the End to end program working with divisional defect managers- Coordinate triage meetings for cross division defects, facilitating the understanding and root cause analysis, action items and resolution.- Communicate and report defect metrics and daily KPIs for Testing managers and for executive forums.- Support retrospective sessions on Quality working with E2E program test manager by providing defect patterns/trends.- Resolves day to day defects/testing conflict and manages the various testing groups across the Mexico within all phases of testing**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s degree required in Management, computer system engineering or related.- 8+ ye
