Our lemma: "work smart and play hard"Our technology partners are Hashicorp, Cloudbees, Chef, Pagerduty, Docker and SAP.We're looking for a **Mid **Continuous Performance Engineer** to work for a financial institution.**Skills**:- Bachelors Degree or higher.- 3-5 years of Information Technology experience, ideally in Financial Services, with specialty in the area of Enterprise-scale Application Performance Engineering and Optimization.- Experienced in the field of Performance Engineering, Architecture, Testing, Bottleneck Analysis, Tuning, Capacity Management and Assurance including performance test methodology and tools- Experience with APM Tools like AppDynamics, Splunk or dynaTrace purePath and Ajax Edition or Wily Introscope- Experience with profiling tools like JProfiler- Experienced in defining, establishing, managing, implementing and coordinating the complete Performance Testing/Engineering and Tuning processes and teams.- Experience with RCA (root cause analysis) and proactive performance issue identification and experience on performance engineering skills such as Heap & Thread analysis, bottleneck identification and GC Analysis- Understanding of architectural concepts around Cloud Computing and base software Development.- Experience with service-oriented platform development using JAVA, JEE, Spring Framework, HA Hadoop, AWS, and OpenStack Cloud.- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.- Can successfully lead the Performance Testing and Tuning Process end-to-end including tools setup- Experienced in defining and implementing Performance Testing/Engineering Standards, Templates, Tuning Standards and Best Practices at various client sites- Provide regular status reporting consistent with established program governance requirements- Good communication skills, establishes strong working relationships with all the stakeholders in a project- Experience with Cloud Foundry Based solutions, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, VMware cloud, AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud Computing, or equivalent and AWS products and services (e.g. Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon EMR).- Experience with Latest Open Source Cloud Technologies - Big Data (Spark, Hadoop), Cassandra, Mesos, Kubernetes, Kafka NoSql, Docker, etc.- Experience with load testing tools, profiling tools and regression testing.- Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics APM, Splunk.- Experience performance testing distributed systems projects with in-depth experience on J2EE framework, Oracle relational databases, Middleware and understanding of open systems.We look for engineers that demonstrate passion for what they do and develop.
