Tasks- Head of a regional team- Establishes and maintains appropriate resources andensure consistence in competence, motivation andefficiency of the teams- Coaches and develops teams and employees- Controls the target achievements for the Advanced Purchasing segment team- Actively supports the teams in case of problems and escalation, part of regional management team of segment HBS and PSS addressing business needs in regard to purchasing.Controls and supports his team to control the supplier-related milestones during the product development phase in-time sourcing- Involvement of suppliers at a very early point of time (ESI)- Continuous feedback of APQP / PPAP status from SQM- Follow-up on supplier and material status- Summarizes future material needs of segment and be responsible for technical changes until SOP.Responsible to monitoring the sourcing process for selection of supplier- Adherence to supplier and material strategies, price targets and project timing.Drives Cost Reduction Programs (CRP) for segment products after SOP'- Re-design to cost / CRP programCommercial responsibility for the material costs of the segment products.- Calculate and control Bill-of-Material (BOM) during acquisition phase- Develop concepts of cost-efficient design with R&D to enable customer award- Responsible to meet BOM cost before SOP- Design-to-cost activities during product development phase to achieve material cost committed during acquisition phase (PCIS).**Qualifications**:- Management skills.- Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking)- Communication skills, including Presentation and -Negotiation techniques to operate in different cultures- Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques- Project management skills, tools and techniques- Procurement Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge- Purchasing Management (including standards of Quality system requirements, policies and norms (IATF 19649/ VDA 6.1)- Risk Management- Technical understanding of specific components- Commercial knowledge, includes contract law etc.About usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
