Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.Purchasing Manager Android MexicoWe currently have an opening for a Purchasing Manager positionat Android de Mexico Android Location-Located in Silao, Guanajuato FacilityPrimary Job Responsibilities- Point of contact for Purchasing in Mexico- Manage all the aspects related to suppliers for Android in Mexico- Develop a local supply base for the Android plants in Mexico- Coordinate and bundle purchases for all Mexico facilitiesTraining, Supervision & administrative support to Mexico purchasing employees- Provide input in the PDR review/development plans for Mexico purchasing employees- Conduct 1:1 with Purchasing Mexico employees- Review and processing of purchase requisitions- Conduct pricing negotiations.- Develop contracts as needed that include the right terms, conditions, and legal requirements.- Provide Effective Leadership of purchasing suppliers- Ensure Short Term and Long Term Goals Are Accomplished- Administer purchasing System.- Keep fluent and effective communication with managers and users as required for any related PO’s submitted.- Keep fluent communication with purchasing managers on any question submitted by suppliers or Android users- Ensure Compliance with Android’s Quality Policies, Values and Philosophies Expectations- Challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement- Search for must convenient supplier price terms and conditions.- Play an active role in developing, monitoring, and achieving Android Purchasing annual goals and objectives.- Must be able to work well in a team setting- Must have a positive attitude at all time- Must be willing to travel and visit Plants and suppliers as neededQualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in One Of The Following Areas) o Business Management o Industrial Engineering o Mechanical Engineering- Five Plus Years in The Automotive Industry, In Lean Manufacturing Operations- A Person with Proven Supervisory Skills Android Industries- Fluent in English and Spanish- Strong negotiation skills- Wide knowledge of the Mexico supplier baseTraits/Values- Hope: The quality of possessing and adhering to positive, optimistic expectation of future events.- Trust: Confidence in one another- Compassion: The quality of an understanding of another's challenges.- Justice: Concern for fairness.- Wisdom: The quality of having good, sound judgement.- Courage: Strength in the face of adversity.Selection Process All qualified applicants will be interviewed.
