Your tasksThe Process & Maintenance Engineer ECU (TE/BE) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) production processes. This critical role involves leading a team of local technicians and ensuring the efficient implementation of High Technology and highly automated Assembly systems for Automotive Safety Electronics Units.Key responsibilities include:- Provide strategic leadership to a team of local technicians, ensuring optimal support for ECU production operations.- Oversee the implementation and integration of Highly Automated Technologies for the assembly of Electronics control units, guaranteeing seamless incorporation into existing production lines.- Develop and refine specialized software, programs and mechatronics devices essential for the successful launch of new products, with a focus on meeting stringent customer quality requirements, minimizing costs, and maximizing manufacturability.- Establish and maintain rigorous process specifications to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.- Implement continuous performance improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies within the area of responsibility, driving operational excellence and maintaining competitiveness.- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-sites teams to address complex technical challenges and implement innovative solutions in ECU Assembly Semiautomated and Automated Systems relative to ECU production processes.- Ensure strict adherence to automotive industry standards and quality control measures throughout all stages of production in area of responsibility.**Profile**:- Bachelor's degree: in electro mechanical, electrical or electronic Engineering- Intermediate English- Experience:- In a high volume manufacturing environment- Machine diagnostic- People management- Problem Solving methodologies- Knowledge- In Electricity, Electronic and Pneumatic- Programing (basic)**Offer**:At Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
