We are looking for our next **Software Engineer Linux** with residence in Guadalajara, Jalisco.Our engineers have all the benefits of being backed by the global presence of the Omron Corporation, while maintaining the entrepreneurial spirit usually reserved for smaller companies.- Develop and test custom Linux operating system- Contribute to other software-related engineering activities such as build systems, documentation, validation and verification- Contribute to customer support as it relates to software bugs and new feature development- Contribute to the development of automated test frameworks**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.- 3 or more years of software development experience for Linux system.- Good understanding of: Linux- Experience creating and verifying software requirements.- Linux, Python, and Git proficiency- English language fluency**Desired**- Experience with Yocto, wired and wireless networking (802.11), Perl- Previous experience with robotics and/or electrical engineeringJoin us at our new facility in Guadalajara, MX, and collaborate with teams in Pleasanton, CA; Amherst, NH; and Barcelona, SP to define the future of OMRON autonomous mobile robot solutions.**"Omron is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
