User Acceptance Testing Supervisor

Primary Purpose:_Oversees the performance of quality team by supervising quality control and/or quality assurance operations, resolving escalated issues, reporting to management, as well as coaching and guiding team members in order to support achievement of department quality and productivity standards.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time._- Oversee the performance of quality control and/or quality assurance related activities ensuring comprehensive analysis, reporting and compliance requirements are met- Coordinate receiving and tracking responses with regard to assigned defects from operational leaders- Lead vetting calls with operational leaders in order to resolve identified errors during the QC and/or QA process- Assist with and proactively lead communication with operational leadership in order to discuss trends, errors, and/or ad hoc requests as they arise- Guide effectiveness of quality initiatives by communicating organizational policies and best practices, setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback- Build analytical processes for the monitoring of transactions within area of responsibility, producing innovative techniques for process improvement and collaborating with key stakeholders to promote and encourage the adoption of best practices- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders by ensuring third party audits are completed timely and accurately, understanding the needs and demands of stakeholders during the audit process, sharing knowledge and expertise and regularly communicating and reporting findings- Develop and mentor team members by providing constructive feedback and direction to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to department leadership and guidance- Complete annual performance reviews for all direct reports in a timely and complete manner- Manage resolution of system and technology errors by monitoring equipment functionality, identifying issues and quickly escalating to management and technical professionals to ensure continued and correct quality control equipment operations- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by communicating with key stakeholders and participating in projects to support delivery of effective client and quality control and/or quality assurance programs- Ensure team alignment with business goals, and support the achievement of service level agreements- Support implementation of process and technology changes by gathering training resources, coordinating training programs and distributing project information to prepare team for changes and streamline transactions- Provide technical support to department by documenting quality control activities, following established guidelines and senior level directives and verifying factual information- Supervise daily operations of team by coordinating and communicating employee tasks, measuring performance, and providing feedback to achieve high productivity and meet service level expectations- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun- Support National General Insurance values in personal work behaviors, decision-making, contributions and interpersonal interactions; manage own career development by soliciting feedback and valuing other perspectivesJOB REQUIREMENTS**Minimum Skills and Competencies**:- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
