Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.**The Impact You’ll Make in this Role**As a LATAM Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:- Work closely with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely corporate income tax return filings.- Support Global Accounting Team in all aspects of US GAAP financial reporting including cash tax forecasting and payments, quarterly provision, return to provision, and assessing uncertain tax positions.- Develop and implement plans to optimize cash tax and ETR.- Support tax audit efforts (PwC, Internal SOX Controls, Tax Authorities) in a timely fashion.- Lead automation efforts for VAT calculations.- Lead VAT Refunds Claims- Provide Indirect Tax advisory to local stakeholders.To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in accounting or tax from an accredited institution.- 5-7 years of direct tax compliance experience.- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and local language, and ability to collaborate across global functions and organizations.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:- Proven ability to use analytical and influencing skills to drive results.- Exhibit sense of urgency to drive effective changes and actively look for continues improvement opportunities.Solventum es un empleador que ofrece las mismas oportunidades. 3M no discriminará a ningún solicitante de empleo por razones de raza, color, edad, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, identidad o expresión de género, origen nacional, discapacidad o estado de veterano.Solventum is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in our recruitment process.
