-Job descriptionIf you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join our Global Service Center - HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Senior Audit Manager - Analytics*******Role purpose**:The primary role of Global Internal Audit (GIA) is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the HSBC Group. GIA provides independent and objective assurance over the design and operating effectiveness of the Group’s framework of risk management, control, and governance processes. GIA possesses specialized capabilities and skills through its versatile, inquisitive, and diverse team of global professionals.**Main activities**:- Lead individual audits support and activity through planning and delivery of the annual audit plan within expected timeframe, standards, methodology, budget, and best practices.- Devise, develop and champion the use of digital audit techniques and approaches to drive operational effectiveness and improve management of audit assignments.- Deliver high quality outputs to audit colleagues in a clear, consistent manner- Drive the co-ordination and collaboration to make sure audit analytics and process mining work is consistently delivered.- Manage the interface between stakeholders to confirm a common understanding of key deliverables.- Manage direct reports if assigned.- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of technical data analytics and process mining- Lead efforts to seek new and innovative ways to automate or digitalize audit work- Coach less experienced members of the team- Participate in delivery of analytics, process mining and digital audit training- Design, build, and deliver data analytics, process mining and other digital solutions to meet the needs of Audit.- Follow an agile, iterative, adaptive approach during the development/delivery of audit technology solutions to meet the imely needs of Audit and add the most value.Requirements- 5 - 10 years relevant work experience in the Financial Services Sector, consultancy, and external audit is preferred, but not always essential.- Experience with some or all of the following: python, SQL, SAS, Qlik, Celonis, KNIME and other analytics tools and languages.- Relevant accounting, data analytics, programming, quantitative, technology skills, qualifications or certifications.- Experience with command prompt, Git/GitHub- Undergraduate or graduate degree in science, technology, engineering and mathematics/statistics.- Fluency in English.- Willingness to travel.- Mature team player who is highly professional- You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
